Technology Mechanism Working Group

Filip Novakovic, the founder of Endogenous, leads the TechMech WG which directly impacts policy and outputs of the UNFCCC arm. 

 The Technology Mechanism WG is responsible for overseeing matters concerning the research, development, deployment, and diffusion of technologies supporting the mitigation of and adaption to climate change which is the primary function of the Technology Mechanism of the UNFCCC. It closely monitors the activities of the Climate Technology Centre and Network (CTCN) and the Technology Executive Committee (TEC). This is facilitated by WG members' involvement in TEC Activity Groups and the representation of YOUNGO members on the CTCN Advisory Board. The Technology Mechanism WG primary emphasis is not solely on the introduction of novel climate technologies but also on fostering technology development and transfer within developing nations. Additionally, it increasingly focuses on exploring the intersection of novel technologies including the interface of (generative) AI and climate.

Developing  Pakistan's Carbon Credit Market
Endogenous is working with Senior officials in Pakistan as a trusted advisor for the establishment of the first regulated carbon market exchange in West Asia.  The team comprising of nature, finance 
and biodiversity experts is carving out new frameworks for carbon marketplaces and exchanges with the aim of democratizing access to the carbon markets and creating an ecosystem for both SMEs and large corporates to contribute. 

Regenerative Tourism Consulting

Endogenous operates a consulting team which leads design for both the built environment and immersive digital experiences with the aim of reshaping the possibilities of global travel destinations and resorts.  Endogenous is developing a new model for regenerative tourism by creating destinations across the Adriatic Sea, Middle East and North Africa.
