Filip Novakovic is a Sustainable Finance specialist, United Nations Climate Technology Mechanism WG lead and a scholar at Cambridge University.
Filip is an Analyst at J.P. Morgan. He was elected as the Deputy of the UN Climate Technology Mechanism working group CP, where he supports country efforts to accelerate climate action through the development and transfer of climate technologies. He is engaged on economic panels and working groups at
the UN in Geneva and New York and spearheads SDG action and resource mobilisation across corporate, non-governmental and public organisations at conferences such as COP, SB and UNGA.
Filip sits on the board of multiple start-ups and non-profit organisations including OpenESG, Improvability.ai and was appointed by Masdar, UAE's largest renewables company as a consultant. He is a Fellow at the Aspen Institute, served as a Research Fellow at the International Renewable Energy Agency in Abu Dhabi and was elected a Scholar at the University of Cambridge, Downing College.
